Introduction
:
In
1997, the economic crisis took the world by surprise,
which dramatically effected the economic structures
in term of financial, social, and political problems.
What has happened during the recession cause people
suffering. However, the crisis also opened opportunities
for change. And the challenge still remains.
The
YMCA of Chiangmai is a recognized non-govenmental
organization by the governmental and non-governmental
organization for its experience and expertise in
social-economic development and environment in the
North of Thailand
For
more than 30 years, we have participate in various
development projects to promote yputh and woman
in the development process, environmental education,
income generating through SMEs establishment, organic
sustainable agriculture, networking with individuals
with expertise and experience on social and economic
sustainable development both domestically and internationally.
Our consulting team assisted organization to design
strategies for optimization and achieving their
performance potential and enhancing strength of
its targets and respective communities.
In
response to interdependent need in the Greater Maekong
sub region, we are now targeting in Yunan province
of the People Republic of China, Myanmar, Laos PRD.
Vietnam, and cambodia as the geographical signnificant
area.
We
are strongly believe that the posibilities in sustainable
development coldbe accomplished through the manual
benefits of sharing and maximizing resource utilization
towards wealth and happiness of the present and
future generations.
